Our Plastic Surgeon's Education and Training
Dr. Larry C. Young established his private practice in 1983, and has been performing facial plastic surgery procedures for patients in the Nashville, Tennessee area since its inception. Prior to becoming a facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Young grew up in Middle, Tennessee and went on to attend college at Vanderbilt University. In 1978, he graduated from the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine in Memphis, before completing his post-graduate training in general surgery at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. Dr. Young then moved to the Indianapolis area for his formal residency training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center. In addition to working with his patients at his Nashville plastic surgery center, Dr. Young is on the staff at several hospitals in the Nashville area.
