Is eyelid surgery right for me?
A relatively painless procedure, eyelid surgery ("blepharoplasty") is best suited for patients noticing bags underneath the eyes and/or drooping upper eyelids, causing patients to appear older than they are, and in some cases impairing vision.
In this procedure, Dr. Young removes excess fat, skin, and muscle through small incisions made along the natural lines of the eyelids. The incisions are closed with fine sutures, which will leave scars that are practically invisible.
